The City of Charleston has an opening in Administration at City Hall. This is a full-time position which entails taking customer water payments, preparing invoices for payment, assisting with payroll preparation, coordinating code enforcement issues, and assisting the City Treasurer, City Clerk and City Collector with other miscellaneous tasks. Solid computer skills are a must including using Word, Excel, and Outlook as well as the ability to quickly adapt to the city's proprietary system. Good people skills and the ability to work as a member of a small team are required. The person we are looking for is well organized, friendly, energetic, has good attention to detail, able to multi-task, a quick learner, and not afraid to tackle something new.
